Cabifit and Cabifit DF (fire-fighting)

For buildings where a fire-fighting lift is required, the Cabifit DF can have a speed of up to 1.6 metres per second to ensure the quickest of evacuations in times of emergency and simultaneously still be designed aesthetically to meet any requirement.

Features & Benefits:

  • Pit depth of 1200mm
  • The motor sits within a side wall of the shaft, at any level providing easy access for the service engineers
  • The controller on the Cabifit model sits within a cabinet on the wall of where the motor sits (this cabinet also provides access to the motor). On the DF model, the controller can sit up to 2m away from the shaft
  • The controller size is the same for whatever capacity of lift
  • The lift car can have single entry or through car entry arrangements
  • The maximum load is 1,000 kg and maximum speed 1.6 m/s
  • The lift comes with its own isolator. We only request that power is fed to the location of the controller for us to wire into
  • Automatic return to landing operation is provided as standard
  • The DF model can be supplied as EN 81-72 compliant to current fire-fighting regulations
  • A self supporting structure can be supplied with the lift should a masonry shaft not be part of the building design
